Phi Phi island
Phi Phi is Thailand's tourist gem. It's had movies made on it. It hold its it s own in conversation for travelers all over Thailand. For some, it's the only reason to go to Phuket.
Phi Phi's beauty is its main attraction. The islands, when approached by boat, rise from the sea like a fortress. Sheer cliffs tower overhead, then give way to beach-fronted jungle.
The second reason to go is its so laid-back. Of the two islands, one is completely free of human inhabitants (Phi Phi Lei), and the other is without roads (Phi Phi Don). There's no schedule, no hustle-and-bustle, no reason to be in a hurry.
As an added bonus, Phi Phi is affordable. Destinations this beautiful are often reserved for those with a fat wallet. That's not the case here; Phi Phi has something for every budget. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Bungalows are the accommodation of choice on Phi Phi in fact, there aren't many other options. The place is very kind to budget-minded backpackers as rooms at the one-star level are more available than the resorts and hotels.
The northern tip of Phi Phi offers excellent accommodation. Away from the noise and is the quietest and cheapest part of the Island.
Phi Phi's islands may not be big, but there is plenty to do with Diving and snorkeling topping the list of exciting ways to fill in your day, and the clear waters around Phi Phi are perfect for
swimming,snorkeling with plenty to see underwater with good visibility or you can hire a boat and go fishing.
There is also great scuba diving tours with Rays,sharks and sea snakes to be seen you will need to google for the tour operators to get the best deal.
Travelling to Phi Phi is easy. Ferry services make return trips twice daily departing from Phuket and Krabi, with prices for one-way trips starting at 250 baht. A regular ferry service from Koh Lanta direct to Phi Phi also operates in the high season.
there are no roads there so take a good pair of hiking shoes or boots although you can travel from beach to beach by boat.
there are Thais living permanently there so you can see them going about their daily business and would be happy for you to join them at one of their food stalls remember as before the chilies are hot and Thai girls know this,so if they want to order for you let them.
